God Moves Mountains For You

A man was sleeping one night in his cabin when suddenly his
room filled with light, and God appeared. The Lord told the
man he had work for him to do, and showed him a large
rock in front of his cabin. The Lord explained that the man
was to push against the rock with all his might...

So, this the man did, day after day. For many years he toiled
from sunup to sundown, his shoulders set squarely against
the cold, massive surface of the unmoving rock, pushing with
all his might!

Each night the man returned to his cabin sore and worn out,
feeling that his whole day had been spent in vain. Since the
man was showing discouragement, the adversary (Satan)
decided to enter the picture by placing thoughts into the
weary mind: (He will do it every time)!

'You have been pushing against that rock for a long time
and it hasn't moved.' Thus, he gave the man the impression
that the task was impossible and that he was a failure. These
thoughts discouraged and disheartened the man.

Satan said, 'Why kill yourself over this? Just put in your
time, giving just the minimum effort; and that will be good
enough.' That's what the weary man planned to do, but
decided to make it a matter of Prayer and to take his
troubled thoughts to the Lord.

'Lord,' he said, 'I have labored long and hard in Your
Service, putting all my strength to do that which You have
asked. Yet, after all this time, I have not even budged that
rock by half a millimeter. What is wrong? Why am I
failing?'

The Lord responded compassionately, 'My friend, when I
asked you to serve Me and you accepted, I told you that your
task was to push against the rock with all of your strength,
which you have done.

Never once did I mention to you that I expected you to move
it. Your task was to push. And now you come to Me with
your strength spent, thinking that you have failed..

But, is that really so? Look at yourself. Your arms are
strong and muscled, your back shiny and brown; your hands
are callused from constant pressure, your legs have become
massive and hard.

Through opposition you have grown much, and your
abilities now surpass that which you used to have. True, you
haven't moved the rock. But your calling was to be Obedient
and to push and to exercise your Faith and trust in My
Wisdom. That you have done. Now I, my friend, will move
the rock.'

At times, when we hear a word from God, we tend to use our
own intellect to decipher what He Wants, when actually
what God wants is just simple obedience and faith in Him.
By all means, exercise the Faith that moves mountains, but
know that it is still God Who moves the Mountains.

When everything seems to go wrong..........................Just P.U .S.H.
When the job gets you down..................................Just P.U.S.H.

When people don't do as you think they should.............Just P.U .S.H. When your money is 'gone' and the bills are due...........Just P.U.S.H. When people just don't understand you............. ........Just P.U.S.H.

P = Pray
U = Until
S = Something

Pass this on to all your loved ones and friends who may need it; they may get it
just in time. 'Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone
can start from now and make a brand new ending.'
Friends are like quiet angels who lift us to our feet when our wings have trouble
remembering how to fly. May God Bless You.

Just Hold ON!!! P.U.S.H!

I see God in other people's eyes

I'm a dreamer
I'm a lover
I believe in life after death.
I see God in other people's eyes.

I'm a fighter
I know what's mine: everything I want

I'm an angel, I forgive and forget...
But I'm also a wise man...
I remember the lesson

I dont think I'm human, I just think my body is

I deserve peace, love, joy
And I get them because my arms are open
And I share them because they don't belong to me

There's a higher being in each of us,
Hiding it below superficial layers is a personal choice.

The true story behind the poem that inspired millions

“Footprints” was composed by Margaret Fishback, a young woman searching for direction at the crossroads in her life. The creation of the poem, its subsequent loss, and astonishing rediscovery are intertwined with a life full of challenge, adversity and joy. The result is a memorable offering of the heart and soul, giving warm spiritual and emotional renewal.

“Footprints” has appeared on plaques and cards, calendars and posters—treasured by millions all over the world. Now it’s available in this special 10th anniversary edition with readers’ letters of how “Footprints” changed their lives.

One night I dreamed a dream

I was walking along the beach with my Lord.
Across the dark sky flashed scenes from my life.
For each scene, I noticed two sets
of footprints in the sand,
one belonging to me
and one to my Lord.

When the last scene of my life shot before me
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
There was only one set of footprints.
I realized that this was at the lowest
and saddest times of my life.
This always bothered me
and I questioned the Lord
about my dilemma.

“Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,
You would walk and talk with me all the way.
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome
times of my life there is only one set of footprints.
I just don't understand why, when I needed You most,
You leave me.”

He whispered, “My precious child,
I love you and will never leave you
never, ever, during your trials and testings.
When you saw only one set of footprints
it was then that I carried you.”
